Grant Gibson – President

Mr. Gibson’s professional experience has covered extensive types of analytical modeling, mapping and spatial statistics. He has a background in consulting and implementing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for municipal agencies, engineering firms and a wide range of other companies and entities. In addition, Mr. Gibson has been very progressive in developing new cutting-edge methods in GIS. Whether it is web based applications, complex geodatabase development, or automated analysis, his work always focuses on efficiency and flexibility.

Mr. Gibson project experience oversee industries that include but are not limited to engineering, healthcare, retail, finance, federal government, telecommunications, transportation, and utilities. Most recently Mr. Gibson has been the integral component for developing and deploying a leading integration of video surveillance and geographic information systems that is now being utilized by city police departments, security personnel as well private industry clients.

Mr. Torbeck became the CEO and part owner of GIS Dynamics, LLC in June of 2008. Primarily focusing on long range planning, day to day operations,  financial management, contractual obligations, and business development, Mr. Torbeck works in partnership with the company President and Founder, Grant Gibson. Mr. Torbeck’s goal is driving business and bottom-line profitability.

 Mr. Price joined GIS Dynamics bringing to the company over 10 years of direct GIS experience. He has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Geographic Information Systems, a background in geographic analysis, modeling and spatial statistics. Mr. Price has experience working in the field of GPS data collection, transportation planning, water flow modeling and petroleum pipeline management for a multitude of engineering firms. His duties include geodatabase design, data management, analysis, and map production. When working with local engineering firms, US Army Corps of Engineers Districts and municipalities, Mr. Price is involved in extensive geodatabase development, long-term project approaches and systematic coordination of data updates and sharing between single and multiple clients.

Most recently, Mr. Price has been a consultant for geospatial services to the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). He is currently required to provide project oversight, QA/QC, training and standard operating procedures for the 1:50,000 scale mapping currently being completed in the DRC utilizing ESRI’s PLTS Defense extensions. Mr. Price was also involved with data mining, base mapping, GPS field data integration, geodatabase design and construction for land management plans for various parts of the installation at Ft. Leonardwood.

4. Bill Sabo – Director of Software Development

 Education: B.S., Computer Engineering / Ohio University

Technical Expertise: C++, C, C#, Java, Java Enterprise, HTML, AML, XML, Visual Basic, VB.net, and Python. Software includes entire ArcGIS Software Developer Kit including ArcGIS Server ADF, ArcObjects, ArcEngine, ArcSDE, and Image Server.

Mr. Sabo has over 5 years experience in the field of software engineering and application development. Mr. Sabo’s projects include the design and development of customized .Net, ASP, C++, C#, and VB GIS tools and applications for server based GIS platforms that include but are not limited to ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Image Server, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, and SQL. Mr. Sabo has extensive experience in the design, construction, and deployment of complex enterprise spatial databases. His programming language expertise includes C++, C#, .Net 1.1/2.0, J#, AJAX, Java, and XML. His software development expertise includes but is not limited to object oriented programming and design, GUI design, QA as well as multi-tiered scalable applications.

5. Larry Rover – GIS Consultant

Education: B.S. Geographic Information Systems / Ohio University

Mr. Rover joined GIS Dynamics bringing to the company over 5 years of direct GIS experience. He has a Bachelors degree in Geographic Information Systems, a background in spatial statistics, modeling, environmental analysis, and GPS data collection. Mr. Rover has experience working in Cultural resource management, floodplain analysis and traffic pattern analysis for multiple engineering firms. Mr. Rover is involved in geodatabase development, and the management and updates of geospatial data. He also has a background in management of AutoCAD data, and the transformation to and from ArcView shapefile data.

Most recently Mr. Rover has been involved in a project for the City of Dayton, Ohio providing project management, base mapping and GPS data collection of all street lights within the City’s corporate limits. In addition Mr. Rover has been providing support and training for GPS data and all GIS related data management, for ENSR an Environmental/ Engineering Firm on a project for planning a new pipeline construction called the North East Passage which stretches from eastern Ohio to western New York.

6. Aaron Kidwell – GIS Consultant

Education: B.S., Geographic Information Systems / University of Cincinnati

Technical Expertise: All ESRI ArcGIS extensions, ArcInfo, ArcEditor, ArcView, ArcPad, ArcPad Application Builder, AutoCAD

Practice Areas: Municipal, Federal, Environmental Engineering, Utilities

Mr. Kidwell’s experience includes the creation of ESRI’s ArcGIS map documents for a diverse range of geographic datasets, network and spatial analysis, and geocoding. His primary roles with GIS Dynamics include data conversion and creation as well as conducting field work using Trimble GPS equipment to accurately locate and document relevant features as well as the street light inventory project which included over 19,000 street lights.
